Back into the red - Feb 22, 2007 @ 3:15 PM

Bears took over the bulls and scripts on the stock markets began to take a reverse course of action. NIFTY is at 4027.80 after loosing -1.67%. NIFTY JUNIOR lost -1.73% while the biggest loosers of the day are the banking stocks. Bank Nifty lost -3.11%.

While 6 scripts are in Advances, 44 are in declines indicating a bear run. Dabur (-6.3%), Punjab National Bank (-4.9%), ACC (-4.85), Ranbaxy (-4.6%) and VSNL (-4.2%) are the biggest loosers.

Gaining strength - Feb 22, 2007 @ 1:45 PM

The markets began to get more strength in the past few hours of trade. NIFTY is at 4122.80 gaining 0.65%.  IT stocks are found to be favorites while Banking stocks are loosing shine. CNX IT is at 5776.10 having gained 1.24% while BANK NIFTY is at 5732.75 having lost 1.45%.

Amongst tech stocks, Rolta (+7.3%), Moser Baer (+3.38%), Patni (+2.7%), Tata Elxsi (+2.4%) and TCS (+2.0%) seems to be getting good buying interest. TCS is hovering at the Rs. 1310.00 mark

Amongst the tech loosers of the day are FinanTech (-3.1%), Mastek (-1.5%),  HCL Insys,  IGS  and HCL Tech.
