More volatility - March 13, 2007

Markets recovered few points but the overall trade seems to be more or less flat even today. NIFTY is currently at 3749.85. The market looks positive overall.

Top stocks that are marginally in red now are HLL, Infosys, Ranbaxy, REL, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bharti Airtel, Jet Airways, Siemens, ONGC and Hero Honda.

The markets have lost few points in the last hour of trade. NIFTY is currently at 3733.85 and slipped marginally into the red.Top gainers on Nifty in todays trades so far are GAIL, HindPetro, Suzlon, MTNL, Dabur, M&M, ABB, Satyam Computers, Sun Pharma and TCS.

Banking stocks too seems to be slipping now. Top losers from Bank Nifty are Bank of India and Oriental Bank of Commerce (-1%), Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank and Canara Bank (all marginally in red).

Volatility continues - Mar 13, 2007

Markets continues to remain volatile. NIFTY is currently at 3754.65 as against its previous closure of 3734.60 (0.54%).

IT Stocks seems to be getting some favor. While 18 stocks advancing, 2 are declining in the CNX IT Index. Top IT gainers so far are Rolta, CMC, Moser Baer, MPhasis and Patni while HTML and IFlex are trading marginally lower.
