The Indian stock markets added points in the last 1 to 2 hours of trade as stocks turned bullish. All sectoral indices closed in positive, Banking stocks gained lime light.
NIFTY closed at 3764.55 (+66.95; +1.81%) while Sensex closed at 12945.88 (+239.94)
All 12 scripts on Bank Nifty advanced today. Toppers in the list includes Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank (both +6%), ICICI Bank (+5%), Syndicate Bank and OBC (both +4%).
IT stocks had a mixed day today. While some popular scripts that are bearish suddently turned bullish while other bullish stocks turned bearish today. Toppers in this list include GTL (+3%), HTMT (+2%), IGS, Infosys Technologies and Polaris (all +1%) while CMC (-3%), MPhasis, FinanTech, Rolta and HCL Tech (all -1%) closed in red.
Nifty 50 gainers of the day are ICICI Bank, Jet Airways (+5%), SAIL, OBC (both 4%), HLL, Dabur, PNB, Bharti Airtel, SBI and REL (all +3%). Nifty 50 losers of the day include Gujarat Ambhuja (-3%), BPCL (-2%), HCL Tech, Ranbaxy, HDFC, ABB, GAIL (all -1%), Grasim, National Aluminium and Dr. Reddy (all marginally in red)
USD/INR is at 43.48.

The markets gained significant momentum and marched towards the positive territories with much enthusiasm than in the earlier hours of trade. All indices are now moving into +1% territory while Banking stocks gained as much as +4%. NIFTY is currently at 3770.50 having gained about 1.9%.
The gainers list includes ICICI Bank, Jet Airways (+5%), SAIL (+4%), PNB, Zee Limited, OBC, Dabur, Bharti Airtel, ONGC and REL (all +3%) while the Nifty losers list include Gujarat Ambhua (-3%), BPCL (-2%), ABB, Ranbaxy, HCL Tech, HDFC (all -1%), National Aluminium, GAIL, Dr Reddy and Grasim (marginally in red).

Markets started to pick strength and gained more inroads into the green territory. NIFTY is currently at 3713.95 (+0.44%). Banking stocks continued to remain strong.
Top gainers so far on the Nifty 50 are ICICI Bank, Jet Airways, REL (all +3%), PNB, VSNL, HLL, ITC, Hero Honda (all +2%), OBC and SBI (+1%). The losers pack is lead by GAIL, HDFC, Siemens, BPCL, ABB, Dr. Reddy, Ranbaxy, HPCL (all -1%), National Aluminum and IPCL (marginally lower).

The markets continued to be volatile and range bound today. NIFTY is at 3707.95 (+0.28%). Banking stocks continued to gain weight while IT stocks began to recover and are currently marginally in red.
Top Nifty gainers so far are Jet Airways (+3.5%), REL, ICICI Bank, PNB, VSNL (all +2%), Hero Honda, ITC, HLL, OBC and Sun Pharma (+1%)

The markets continue to stay range bound, slightly in the negative territory. Banking stocks are gaining while IT stocks are slipping into the red. Stocks in the Nifty losers list include IPCL, GAIL, BPCL, Siemens, Satyam Computers (all -1%), Dr. Reddy, ABB, Glaxo, HDFC and HCL Tech (all marginally lower)
All 12 stocks in the Bank Nifty are trading positive. Corporation Bank (+6%), Syndicate Bank, Bank of Baroda, UTI Bank (all +3%) and Bank of India (+2.9%) are topping the list.
