The Indian stock markets have shed few of its gains in the last hour of trade. Sensex is at 12,838.62 (+51.85; 0.41%) while Nifty is at 3748.65 (+0.41%).
Midcap index gained 39.50 points while Smallcap index gained 64.72.
Health care and Oil & Gas sectoral indices are weak while Metal stocks continued to outsmart all other sectors. Banking sector too looks lucrative.

The markets gained significant points in the last hour of trade indicating a sense of large buying interest. However, this factor isn’t good enough to take the indices to cross 1% gains.
Sensex is currently at 12,870.87 (+84.10 pts; +0.66%) while Nifty is at 3763.70 (+0.82%)
Major gainers on BSE include Tata Steel, Zee Entertainment, Federal Bank, JSW Steel, Hindustan Zinc, Ispat Industries, Union Bank, Jindal Steel, Lanco Infra and Syngenta Ltd

Sensex is currently trading at 12,816.17 and has gained 29.40 points so far. While the overall market seems to be positive, traders are making moves cautiously. Midcap index added 30.98 points while Small cap index added 63.46 points.
Banking stocks recovered in the past hour of trade. Metal stocks continued to strengthened.
Top gainers on Sensex are Lanco Infra, JSW Steel, Hindustan Zinc (all +5%), Tata Steel, Ispat Industries, Jindal Steel (all +4%), Lupin Ltd, Parsvnath, Zee Entertainment and Jindal (all +3%)

Sensex has gained a mere 14 points and is currently at 12,801.55. Midcap index added 27.02 points while Small cap index added 51.05 points. Metal stocks gained momentum. BSE Metal Sectoral index is up 2.4%
Nifty is at 3735.30 and is up 0.05%. CNX IT is down by 0.46%
Of the 20 script CNX IT, 8 scripts are advancing and 12 scripts are declining. FinanTech (+4%), Patni (+3.4%), Rolta, Hexaware (+1%) and GTL (marginally up) are topping the charts

The Indian stock markets started a bit low this morning. NIFTY is trading at 3723.75 and is down by 0.25%. Sensex opened at 12,791.60 and lost 25.32 pts and is down by 0.20%
Sensex Midcap and Small cap indices are marginally up. Banking, Consumer Durables, IT, Oil & Gas and PSU indices are marginally weak.
Top Nifty 50 gainers include GAIL, ACC, Zee Limited, Grasim, Gujarat Ambhuja, Tata Motors, HDFC, HLL, VSNL and Tata Steel (all +1%)
Nifty 50 losers include Wipro, Dr. Reddy, Reliance Petrol, ONGC, Sun Pharma (all -1%), Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, Infosys, SBI and Tata Power (marginally weak).
