JPMorgan Asset Management India Pvt Ltd is now in India. And their first fund for the Indian Mutual Fund market is already out. JPMorgan has launched the JPMorgan India Equity Fund.
The fund is an open ended equity growth fund. The fund aims to generate income and long-term capital growth from a diversified portfolio of predominantly equity and equity-related securities including equity derivatives.

The BSE Sensex closed losing some of the recently gained points. The incex closed at 13,619.70 down 52.49 points and 0.38% in the process. Midcap and Smallcap indices closed marginally in red. There is not much momentum in the trade today. Bankex, FMCG, Health Care closed marginally up while other indices are marginally in red.
Top gainers of the day on the Sensex are SKF India, Apollo Tyres, Syngenta, PFizer, Sterlite Biotech, Parsvanath, Aventis Pharma, JSW Steel, Andhra Bank and Gujarat Mineral Development. Top Sensex losers of the day are IGate Global, Zee Entertainment, Arvind Mills, ACC Limited, Lanco Infra, Satyam Computers, Rashtriya Chemicals, Balaji Tele, Container Corporation and Hindustan Zinc
Nifty closed below the 4000-level today and closed at 3997.65 losing 0.35%. Nifty Junior closed up 0.30% while CNX IT closed at down 0.94%. Bank Nifty is up by 0.50%.

Markets continue to stay volatile. The BSE Sensex is down at 148.04 (-1.08%) and is currently at 13,524.15. Both Midcap and Smallcap indices are down marginally. All sectoral indices too are trading in the red.
Nifty is currently at 3966.25 and is down 1.13%.Top gaining stocks of the day so far on the Sensex are SKF India, Gujarat Mineral Development, Apollo Tyres, Syngenta Ltd, Castrol India, Aventis Pharma, Sterlite Biotech, Essel Propac, Tata Chemicals and Asian Paints. Top losers of the day so far are Zee Entertainment, Balaji Tele, IGate Global, Lanco Infra, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers, BHEL, Hindustan Zinc, Welsp Guj and Bajaj Auto.

The Asian Markets were a bit down today. The Indian markets followed the same route too. The BSE Sensex opened at 13,538.71 and is currently at 13,564.43 down by -107.76 points or -0.79%. Nifty slipped below the 4000 point mark and is currently at 3984.60. CNX IT and Bank Nifty are marginally down.
On the Sensex, Midcap is down 0.09% while Smallcap index is holding up by 0.10%. All sectoral indices are marginally down on the BSE. Health Care is the only sector that is currently in the green.
Top gainers in the trade so far are SKF India, GTL Limited, Tata Chemicals, Andhra Bank, MPhasis Ltd, Castrol India, Essel Propac, Alok Industries, Neyveli Lignite, Sterl Biotech.
Top losers of the day are ICI India, IGate Global, Housing Development Finance Co, IPCA, Jindal, Balaji Tele, Chennai Petro, Tata Power, Infosys and Bombay Dyeing.
