The Sensex once again slipped to the sub-14K level todays. Sensex last traded at 13,908.58 by closing time. Midcap index was down by 0.94% while the Smallcap index is down 1.08%. BSE 100 is down by 1.99%, BSE 200 is down 1.84% and BSE 500 is down by 1.76%.
Health Care index is down 3.9%, Oil & Gas sectoral is down 3% followed by Bankex and Metal sectoral indices which fell by over 2%. Bank Nifty is down 2.18% and CNX IT is down by 0.21%.
Major gainers on the Sensex today are MICO, HCL Infosys, Bongaigaon Refineries, Ballarpur Industries, Crompton Greaves, Kotak Bank, LIC H. Finance, Bharth Earth Movers, SKF India and IBP Limited. Major losers of the day are Cipla Ltd, Indian Bank, India Cement, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, Tata Steel, Sterlite Industries, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers and Century Textiles & Industries

Sensex is currently at 13,984.85 points and is down by about 244.03 points or 1.72%. Midcap index is down by 0.59% while Smallcap index is down by 0.78%. A look at sectoral indices shows Health Care index down by 4.24% , Bankex down by 1.69%, Metal down by 1.81% and Oil & Gas down by 2.45%
Sensex major gainers so far are MICO, Ballarpur Industries, Bongaigaon, Ramco Systems, Escorts, Chennai Petroleum, Crompton Greaves, Kotak Bank, Mangalore Refineries and SKF India. Top Sensex losers so far are Cipla, Indian Bank, Sterlite Industries, Sun Pharma, India Cement, Suzlon Energy, Tata Steel, Micro Inks, Geometric Software and Aditya Birla Nuvo
Nifty is back to the 4100 point levels. The index is currently at 4103.35 points and is down by 1.79%. Bank Nifty is down by 1.46% while CNX IT is down by 0.30%.

Much action on the stock market is promised today. Particularly because of the quarterly results announced by Reliance Industries Limited announced yesterday and more importantly considering the fact that today is the last trading day for the month.
Sensex is currently trading at 14,060.98 points and is down by 167.90 points or 1.18%. The Midcap index and Smallcap index are marginally down. Health Care that saw traders preferances during the past few trading sessions is today in the red. The sectoral index is down 2.5%. Auto sectoral index is looking positive and is currently up by 0.79%.
Top scripts that are trading in green on the Sensex include MICO, Bongaigaon Refineries, LIC Housing Finance, Mangalore Refineries, Gujarat Gas, SKF India, VisualSoft, Chennail Petrol, Escorts and Crompton Graves. Cipla, Indian Bank, Britania Industries, Suzlon Energy, Mico Inks, ONGC, Balaji Tele, Reliance, IPCL and National Alumnium are in the red.
Nift is down by 0.91% and is currently at 4139.80. Nifty Junior is in green by 0.45% while Bank Nifty is down by 0.48%.

Volatile is back into action as the markets failed to take a single direction path today. The stock markets opened positive in the morning but began to loose points for the first one hour or so before taking the route towards positive direction by noon. Selling is evident by 2:00 Noon though the markets recovered back promptly by closing time.
Nifty closed at 4177.85 and is up 0.25%. CNX IT is up 0.44% while Bank Nifty is up 0.08%.
Top Nifty gainers of the day are HPCL, GAIL, BPCL, Siemens, Suzlon, Grasim, Bajaj Auto, MTNL, HLL and L&T. Top Nifty losers of the day are HCL Tech (-2%), Hero Honda, Tata Steel, ONGC, Reliance, Dabur, Glaxo, Satyam Computers, HDFC and Gujarat Ambhuja.
On the CNX IT, 6 scripts advanced and 14 declined. Gainers include IFlex (+3.3%), TCS, Wipro (both +2%), Mastek and Tech Mahindra (marginally positive). Top losers include Finantech (-5%), Hexaware, Moser Baer (both -3%), HCL Tech and Subex (both -2%).
The BSE Sensex closed the day 14,228.88 points having gained 11.11 points or 0.08%. Midcap index is down 0.30% while Smallcap index is down 0.82%. Consumer Durables sectoral index is down while Capital goods index is up. Other indices are marginally up or down.
Top Sensex gainers are Vijaya Bank, Visual Soft, Neyveli Lignite, Indus Ind Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Engineering India, HPCL, IBP, Mangalore Refineries and J&K Bank. Top Sensex losers of the day are Ramco System, Alok Industries, Infra Dev Fin, Jindal Saw, Exide Industries, Hexaware Ltd, ICI India, Parsvnath, Godrej Cons and Shipping Corp.

Reaching up new highs during recent times, the BSE Sensex managed to cross the keenly watched 14.3K mark. The index is currently at 14,304.53 and has gained 86.76 points. Midcap index is marginally positive while Smallcap index is marginally in the red. Bankex, Capital Goods sectoral indices are trading over +1%. Consumer Durables index is marginally in red.
Major Sensex gainers so far are Vijaya Bank, Visual Soft, Neyveli Lignite, Mangalore Refineries, Indian Cement, Union Bank, Dena Bank and Mico Ltd. Major Sensex losers so far are Infra Dev Finance, Ramco System, Alok Industries, Exide Industries, ICI India, Jindal Saw, SKF India, Hero Honda, Parsvnath and Shipping Coporation
Nifty is approaching the 4200 mark. The index is currently at 4193.35 points and is up 0.63%. CNX IT is up 0.27% while Bank Nifty is up 1.33%.
