The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.
The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on the eighth day after its launch opened at 7947.49 and touched an intra-day high of 8144.94 to close the day at 7948.99, up by 31.06 points, 0.39% from its previous close of 7917.93. It touched an intra-day low of 7910.28.
