Indian Markets open green - August 22, 2007

The Indian markets took their own course today considering that the Asian markets have given up mixed results on the trades today. The Indian markets up 130-odd points on Sensex and 40-odd points on Nifty.
Orbit, Central Bank, Reliance Communications, Tisco, Bharti Airtel, ICICI, HDFC, Cipla, SEL Manufacturing opened in green.

Intra-day BSE Realty Index Movement – August 21, 2007

The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.

The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on August 21, 2007 opened at 7229.44 and touched an intra-day high of 7247.60 to close the day at 6844.63, down by 329.03 points, 4.59% from its previous close of 7173.66. It touched an intra-day low of 6785.25.
