The media had reports that HDIL may buy seven million square feet property of Hmt Ltd in Kochi.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Reply is awaited from Hmt Ltd.

The media had reports that US based Avenue Capital may pick up 15% stake in Morepen Laboratories Ltd.

The derivative contracts in the underlying TTML has crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on September 03, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of TTML by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.
