Opening in red; Closing barely in green; September 10, 2007
Its the opening day for the week for the global Indian markets.
NSE continue to close in red while BSE gained small green in the Indian markets.
NSE Nifty closed at 4507.85 points and is down 0.04%. Nifty Junior is up 0.71%. CNX IT is down 2.12% while BANK NIFTY is up 0.40%. CNX 100 closed up 0.07%.
Amongst CNX IT Finantech,GTL,Patni,Polaris and Mastek closed in green while HCL-Insys,HCLTech,Subex,Rolta and Wipro closed in red.
On the Bank Nifty, Kotak Bank,SBIN,Union Bank,Bank Baroda and Orient Bank closed in the green while ICICI Bank,Canara Bank,Axis Bank and HDFC Bank closed in red.
BSE Sensex closed at 15,596.83 points and is up 6.41. BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices too closed less than a percent up.
Top sectoral indices gainers include Auto,Bankex, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Health care and IT.
