The media had reports that De Beers may acquire 51% stake in Rajesh Exports.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Reply is awaited from Rajesh Exports Ltd.

The media had reports that UTV Software Communications Limited may sell a minority stake in its broadcast unit.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
UTV Software Communications Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated, “We have to say that, the Company keeps evaluating various options to fund the Broadcasting initiatives, this may include sale of equity stake. The Company has been in discussions with various investors, however, no such specific proposal / investor has been finalized, except a joint venture business with Astro Multimedia International (BVI) Limited (”Astro”) for establishing a television channel as informed on 24th November 2006, which is subject to regulatory approvals. Suitable intimation will be given to the Stock Exchange as and when any such specific proposal / investors are approved by the Board.”

The derivative contracts in the underlying NEYVELILIG & GMRINFRA have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on September 17, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of NEYVELILIG & GMRINFRA by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.
The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on September 17, 2007 opened at 7976.09 and touched an intra-day high of 8057.61 to close the day at 7928.01, down by 44.74 points, 0.56% from its previous close of 7972.75. It touched an intra-day low of 7885.76.
