The beginning trading day of the week continue in red. NSE and BSE closed marginally in red in the Indian markets. NSE Nifty closed at 4494.65 points and is down 0.52%. Nifty Junior is up 0.31%. CNX IT is down 1.47% while BANK NIFTY is down 0.22%. CNX 100 closed down 0.40%.
Amongst CNX IT Mphasis and Mastek closed in green while Subex, TCS, Rolta, Patni and HCL-Insys closed in red.
On the Bank Nifty, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Bank of India and Corporate Bank closed in the green while Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC), ICICI Bank, Union Bank of India, PNB and HDFC Bank closed in red.
BSE Sensex closed at 15,504.43 points and is down 99.37. BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices too closed less than a percent up.Top sectoral indices gainers include Auto,Bankex,Consumer Durables, FMCG, Health care and IT.
