The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.
The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on October 3, 2007 opened at 9335.28 and touched an intra-day high of 9850.97 to close the day at 9775.19, up by 593.36 points, 6.46% from its previous close of 9181.83. It touched an intra-day low of 9251.31.

The Exchange has decided to make replacements in BSE Mid-Cap and BSE Small-Cap index as part of its periodic review. Details of the replacements are given in the annexure attached herewith.
