There are no major surprises for the Indian markets in the early hours of trade and the markets are a bit volatile hitting red and green every few minutes. The news of the TCS results are taken positively by the market. The TCS Media Centre has indeed made a good show considering the rupee appreciation issue in general and the sub-prime concern in the US and European markets (TCS has a big ticket projects in the BFSI space).
Today’s buzzing stocks include ONGC, SBI and of course TCS and Satyam. Reliance Industries is a bit volatile. Infosys is in red and analysts say TCS is a better bet than Infosys. Midcap stocks too are buzzing. The recently listed Kouton is seeing new highs today.
Sugar stocks are buzzing though many say that the activity is yet to be seen and it is very early. Bajaj Hindhustan is in the green today and is trading firm.
