The derivative contracts in the underlying TTML have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on October 23, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of TTML by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.
The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on October 23, 2007 opened at 9106.04 and touched an intra-day high of 9613.23 to close the day at 9568.03, up by 573.81 points, 6.38% from its previous close of 8994.22. It touched an intra-day low of 9106.04.

Forgetting the trends set during the last few sessions, the Indian stock markets opened in the green this morning. Sensex is up 420 points while Nifty is up 130 points.
Top gainers include Reliance Energy, Bharti Airtel, BHEL and Reliance Communications. Overall the markets seems to be positive.
