The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Power Index on November 9, 2007 to mark the beginning of Samvat 2064.
The ‘BSE Power Index’ on November 12, 2007 opened at 4288.99 and touched an intra-day high of 4419.81 to close the day at 4394.15, up by 6.83 points, 0.16% from its previous close of 4387.32. It touched an intra-day low of 4215.84.
