The media had reports that Mylan may come out with a delisting offer for Matrix and are looking at buying the residual stake.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Matrix Laboratories Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,”As on date Mylan Laboratories Inc.,USA is neither contemplating to buy residual stake nor delist the securities of the Company from the Stock Exchanges. Hence, the news item is incorrect and baseless.”

The derivative contracts in the underlying OMAXE, POWERGRID & ADLABSFILM have crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on November 13, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of OMAXE, POWERGRID & ADLABSFILM by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Power Index on November 9, 2007 to mark the beginning of Samvat 2064.
The ‘BSE Power Index’ on November 13, 2007 opened at 4394.78 and touched an intra-day high of 4585.48 to close the day at 4527.68, up by 133.53 points, 3.04% from its previous close of 4394.15. It touched an intra-day low of 4394.78.

Intra-day BSE Realty Index Movement – November 13, 2007
The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. announced the launch of BSE Realty Index on July 9, 2007 to mark its 133rd Foundation Day.
The ‘BSE Realty Index’ on November 13, 2007 opened at 9808.09 and touched an intra-day high of 10039.73 to close the day at 9998.66, up by 199.60 points, 2.04% from its previous close of 9799.06. It touched an intra-day low of 9768.75.
