Nifty 50 crossed the 6000 points mark while Sensex crossed the 20,000 points mark in the first few minutes of trade. Reliance Petrol, MTNL, VSNL, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank from the Banking sector, NTPC, GAIL, Unitech, ONGC are all trading in green.
CNX Midcap 100 is buzzing with many stocks are buzzing with joy. Essar pack and the steel sector are showing good gains. Dish TV and WWIL are in the green. Vijaya Bank, IndusInd Bank and UCO Bank are seen to be good banking picks.
US Markets performed well yesterday and so are Asian markets at the moment. Many of the major indices All Ordinaries, Hang Seng, Nikkei 225, Straits Times, Seoul Composite are trading over +1% while other markets are largely in the green.
