Indian markets close flat
The Indian stock markets had yet another quiet day today. The two major benchmark indices NSE Nifty and BSE Sensex closed marginally in the red.
CNX Nifty closed at 4709.65 down by 1.08% while BSE Sensex closed at 15,587.62 down by 1.08%. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices managed to close marginally in the green.On the BSE sectoral indices front, Bankex, Consumer Durables closed in the green while the rest closed in the red. There is yet another red day for the IT stocks.
