AIG Investment has announced a revision in the Entry and Exit Load of its mutual fund schemes. There will be an entry load of 2.25 and 1 percent exit load if redeemed within 1 year from the date of allotment for its schemes AIG India Equity Fund, AIG Infrastructure and Economic Reform Fund and AIG World Gold Fund for SIP and STP investments.

The Indian stock markets opened on a positive note this morning. Nifty is trading at 5075 and is up by 1.75%. CNX IT is up 1.44%. Bank Nifty is up 2.21%.
Private banking stocks are getting more attention this morning. ICICI Bank is up 3.52%. Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, IDBI are all up by over 2%. State Bank of India is trading at 1689 levels. IDBI passed the Rs. 100 mark and is trading at Rs. 100.20 levels.
Satyam Computers is down by 2.62% after a negative news from one its old alliance in the UK. Infosys Technologies on the other hand is up by 4.44%. IFCI, Reliance, Tata Steel, SAIL, Reliance Petrol, Reliance Capital and L&T are topping the volume charts.

The Indian Information Technology stocks have zoomed ahead today with the US Dollar tounching INR 42.6 levels during intraday today. If there is any other sector that will cheer it he US Dollar strengthens, it is the Indian IT Industry. Needless to say, Indian investors who have put in huge monies into Indian IT Stocks that were having a rather dull period for over a year or two now have reasons to smile.
The CNX IT Index is up at 4513.95 (at 2:55 PM IST), up by about 3.90%. Major gainers on the CNX IT today include TCS, Polaris, HCL Tech, Infosys and IFlex.

SBI MF has done it once again. The announcement of a dividend of 40% on a face value of Rs. 10 or Rs. 4 per unit. May 16, 2008 will be taken as the record date for distribution of the dividends. The earlier dividend announcements are made in May 2007 and April 2006, both of which are of 40%
