Bank of India to enter into AMC Business

After having seen some entry of Indian banks entering into AMC Business with partnerships from International financial companies, it is now the turn of Bank of India to enter into the Indian AMC Business.

Reports say that BoI is in the quest for a good partner so that it can test the Mutual Fund market in the country. Bids are called for and five foreign players including Dai-ichi Life of Japan and BBVA Asset Management of Spain. Bids from financial arms from the UK, the Far-East and Middle-East are yet be received before the bank can narrow down for its perfect partner.
