The derivative contracts in the underlying GMRINFRA has crossed 95% of the market-wide position limit on November 23, 2007. It is hereby informed that all clients/ members shall trade in derivative contracts of GMRINFRA by offsetting their existing positions till the open interest comes down to 80% of the market wide position limit.

The media had reports that Sunil Hitech Engr. Ltd may consider a private placement of shares to institutional investors at a premium to the market price.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Sunil Hitech Engr. Ltd has vide its letter inter-alia stated,”The Company has passed a resolution in last Annual General Meeting held on 20th September, 2007, that the Company proposes to raise an amount of Rs. 200 Crores by equity/borrowed funds through ADR/GDR/FCCB & or qualified institutional placement. However, the Board has yet to decide the route and quantum of the issue”.

The media had reports that Jyoti Structures Ltd may provide EPC services for Western Region System Strengthening transmission project; the order value being estimated at Rs.500 crore.

Jyoti Structures Ltd vide its letter inter alia stated, “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd invited tariff based bids for setting up Western Region System Strengthening Transmission Project in the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. REL and Jyoti Structures Ltd (JSL) had a pre-tender exclusive tie-up for JSL to carry out survey, design, testing, manufacture of towers and construction of lines for a total value of approximately Rs. 500 cr. We understand from media that REL’s proposal has now been cleared. We are awaiting official communication from REL on this matter. As a matter of policy, we consider an order received by us only after we officially receive the same and sign the contract.”
