Green days continue in Indian markets

The closing trading day of the week continued to be in green which is a positive sign for the Indian markets. NSE and BSE both continued green in the Indian markets.

NSE Nifty closed at 5021.35 points and is up 0.42%. Nifty Junior is up 2.26%. CNX IT is down 0.25% while BANK NIFTY is up 2.66%. CNX 100 closed up 0.67%.

Amongst CNX IT Tata Elxsi closed in green while HCL Tech closed in red.
On the Bank Nifty, Bank of India, Union Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Canara Bank and State Bank of India closed in the green while Axis Bank closed in red.

BSE Sensex closed at 17,291.10 points and is up 140.54. BSE Midcap index closed more than a percent up while BSE Smallcap indices closed less than a percent up.

Top sectoral index gainers include Auto, Bankex, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Health care and IT.
