Indian Markets close postive - August 20, 2007

The NSE Nifty closed at 4209.05 points and is up 2.46%. Nifty Junior is up 2.11%. CNX IT is down 0.51% while BANK NIFTY is up 3.94%. CNX 100 closed down 2.41%.
Amongst CNX IT Patni, Mastek, HCL Tech, Hexaware and Moser Baer closed in green while Tata Elxsi, Satyam Computers, Infosys Technologies, Wipro and I-Flex closed in red.
On the Bank Nifty, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and Union Bank closed in the green.
BSE Sensex closed at 14,427.55 points and is up 286.03. BSE Midcap and BSE Smallcap indices too closed a percent up. Top sectoral indices gainers include Auto,Bankex, Consumer Durables, FMCG, Health care and IT.
