Indian markets open weak - January 3, 2007

Sensex is down 59 points while Nifty 50 is down by 10 points in the first few minutes of trade.
Reliance Energy, ONGC, M&M, SAIL are in the green. Bharti Airtel, Reliance Petrol, Unitech are in the red. Few of the midcap stocks too are in the red. EIH, Centurion Bank of Punjab are marginally in the red this morning.
Burnpur Cement has a reasonably good listing today. The stock touched Rs. 30 mark during the trading session in the first few hours of the trade.
IT stocks continue to be dull. CMC is down 3.7%, Rolta, Satyam Computers, Wipro are down by a percentage point. Moser Baer, Mindtree are up by a percentage point.
