Indian stock markets open green – November 26, 2007

November 26th, 2007

Nifty 50 is up 110 points and Sensex is up 420 points. The markets are strong and bullish. Reliance Energy, Reliance Communications, ICICI Bank, Reliance Capital, NTPC, Unitech are all in the green. HDFC is up 6%. Maruti zoomed by 3%. L&T again is back above Rs. 4200 levels.

BHEL is up by Rs. 63. Midcap 100 index is up 160 points. The new listing Empee Distilleries is a bit in red.

Power stocks are strong. Jaiprakash, Power Grid are trading strong.
UCO Bank, IFCI are green in the finance and banking stocks.
ISPAT and Jindal Stainless are trading green.

The Asian markets are trading stronger this morning. Almost all major Asian stock markets are trading in green. Hang Seng zoomed over 1000 points and is up close to 4%. Similarly All Ordinaries, Nikkei 225, Straits Times, Seoul Composite are all over 2% up.
