Indian stock markets open in green – December 5, 2007

The Indian stock markets are largely in the green territory this morning. Nifty is up 50 points and Sensex is up 166 points. Advancing stocks are outnumbering the Declining stocks. Few top IT stocks are trading in the red.

GAIL, HPCL, Tata Motors, BPCL, Siemens, Reliance Petrol, L&T, Reliance Communications, M&M and ONGC are trading positive.

Sterlite Industries, HCL Technologies, Wipro, Infosys, ITC, TCS, Sun Pharma, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Power, Ambhuja Cements are trading in the red.

Asian markets are trading mixed. Shanghai Composite is trading +1.2%.
