The units of Gold Benchmark Exchange Traded Scheme (Gold BeES) - Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) shall be admitted to dealings on the Exchange w.e.f. March 19, 2007 (Symbol: GOLDBEES). Trading shall be in the Normal Market Segment – Compulsory Demat (Rolling Settlement) for all investors. The ISIN corresponding to these units is INF732E01102.

    They are not ‘Gold shares’ per say but buying units of gold units without taking physical delivery of the stock. They function just like any other mutual fund scheme. And as usual, the best way is to buy units regularly for fixed amount - say Rs. 1000 per month irrespective of the gold price. Over a period of time, you accumulate more units of gold than you would do as in a single investment. All good luck!!
