Markets closes in green - March 13, 2007

The markets despite being volatile through out the day and taking no clear direction manged to end in the positive territory.
Sensex ticked 12982.98, just below the 13000 mark and gained 80.35 points. Nifty closed the day at 3770.55 up 35.95 pts
USD/INR is trading at 44.23
