Markets continue to hold early gains

The stock markets are trading flat and are holding their early gains. NSE Nifty is at 4380.30 up by 1.22%. The CNX IT is up 1.18% and Bank Nifty is up 3.35%

The BSE Sensex is at 14622 up 221 points or 1.54%. The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices are holding firm. Realty and Bankex continue to the top secotrial indices on the BSE.

Top Nifty gainers include Zee Limited. The script is at Rs. 220 levels and is up 4.14%. ICICI Bank, DLF, HDFC, BPCL, Tata Motors, HDFC Bank, PNB and State Bank of India are all in the green up by over 3%. Reliance Infra is up 2.99%

On the losing side are Ranbaxy. The script is trading at Rs. 504 levels and is down 3.44%. Suzlon is down over 2% while Cairn, ABB and Tata Power top the remaining charts.
