Markets ends flat - Jan 24, 2007

The markets, having opened in postitive this morning, continued to stay in positive through out a day. The markets hence continued to stay flat. The BSE Sensex ended at 14,110 (Up 69 points) while the NSE Nifty is at 4,090 (up 24 points) before calling it a day. The USD/INR is currently trading at 44.29.
Tata Steel, L&T, Oil major ONGC, HDFC Bank, Zee Entertainment (having announced a splendid quarterly results), Jet Airways are in the green. Retail Market major HLL, Reliance Communications, CIPLA, Sun Pharma and HPCL saw selling pressure.
