The Indian Stock Markets are trading positive though volatility is clearly evident. Sensex is currently at 13,980.25 pts and is up 45.98 pts. Sensex is up 0.33%. Midcap index is up 0.44% and Smallcap index is up 0.71%. Metal and Oil & Gas Sectoral indices are trading good while IT is marginally down.
Top gainers on Sensex in early hours of trade are Ispat Industries, Rashtriya Chemicals, Gujarat Mineral Development, HPCL, Essel Propac, Ramco Systems, Nicholas Piramal, IDBI and Sterlite Industries. Top losers so far are Colgate Palmolive, Indian Overseas Bank, Allahabad Bank, Parsvanath, Birla Corp, Satya, Computers, CESC Ltd, EIH Limited, Tata Elxsi and Wochard.
