Markets open weak - Jan 23, 2007

NIFTY is currently trading weak at 4087.85 as against to its previous closure of 4102.45. While 10 are advancing, 40 are pulling down in the Nifty 50.
Among Banking Stocks, SBI and Union Bank are in green while UTI, Corporation Bank, Punjab National Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank are in red. Tech Mahindra, Indian Cements, ACC and Satyam Computers are currently topping the charts as the most actively traded securities in the early hours.
