Markets takes relief as trading goes green

Following the paths of its Asian peers, the Indian markets opened in the green this morning. Nifty is up 1.41% and just slipped below the 5000 levels.

Delivering based trading is visible on select counters. Reliance Industries, L&T, IFCI are registered good delivery based buying.

CNX Midcap is up 2.73%. CNX 100 is up 1.73%. Nifty Midcap 50 is up 3.05%.

IT stocks are trading mixed. TCS is tradng at Rs. 820 levels. Wipro is at Rs. 408 levels and Infosys is at Rs. 1400 levels. Rolta is down 11.38%. HCL Insys and Polaris are down 10%

Banking stocks are firm. SBI is at Rs. 2258 levels. ICICI Bank is marginally up while HDFC Bank is down by over 1%. Kotak Mahindra Bank is up 3.83%
