Markts trade volatile, ends marginally in red

The Indian stock markets had a rather dull day taking a gap up opening, a bit of volatility across the day and closing the day in the red. Nifty closed at 4223.05 down 0.52% while Sensex has shed 47.36 points to close at 13994.96 down by 0.34%
The CNX 100 closed at 4001.20 down 0.54% while CNX 500 is down 0.40%. CNX IT is down 0.46% and Bank Nifty is down 0.13%.
ACC is up 3.37% today. The script opened at 612, had an intraday high of 632 and intraday low of 602 and closed at 627.25.
Other Nifty gainers include Tata Steel, ITC, Unitech, Sun Pharma, Hindustan Unileaver, HCL Tech, ICICI Bank, Grasim and RPL.
Nifty losers list includes Suzlon, Satyam Computer, Siemens, L&T, Maruti, Ranbaxy, SAIL, BPCL, Reliance Power and Hindalco.
BSE Midcap Index closed at 5220.96 down 0.15%. BSE Smallcap index closed at 6194.11 down 0.35%.
Capital Goods is the biggest sectoral index loser of the day. The index is down 2.24%. Power, Auto, IT, Consumer Durables are the other sectoral losers. On the gaining side are the defensive FMCG and Metal.
Curde Oil again began to become a factor of concern as a barrel crude is costing $106.65. Commodities lead by Gold are back on the upwards while the US Dollar began to weaken over the Indian rupee.
