The media had reports that Abhishek Industries Limited may enter high-end paper manufacturing business.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Abhishek Industries Limited has vide its letter inter-alia stated,”As informed in Annual Report of the Company for the year 2006-07, the Company is installing a paper machine of 275-tpd, a pulp machine of 225-tpd and a 20 MW Captive Power Plant under its paper expansion project. The said project is at an advance stage of implementation.”
