The media had reports that Hcl Infosystems Ltd may merge with NIIT Technologies Ltd.
The Exchange, in order to verify the accuracy or otherwise of the information reported in the media and to inform the market place so that the interest of the investors is safeguarded, had written to the officials of the company.
Hcl Infosystems Ltd has vide its letter inter-alia stated, “We wish to clarify that the said news item published in the media is baseless and speculative. No such news has emanated from the Company or its management during any of its communications, press conferences or releases whatsoever.”
