Profit booking drives Sensex down by 230 points - November 2, 2007

The markets are seeing a profit booking phase with bears coming into the scene. Sensex is down by about 230 points and Nifty is down by 72 points. Profit booking is evident in Bharti Airtel as the script entered the sub Rs. 880 territory. Other top losers in the early hours of trade today include ICICI Bank, ONGC and Hindalco. Top gainers includer L&T, ITC, Ranbaxy and TCS.

PSU, IT, Bank and Healthcare are witnessing selling pressure.
