Sensex hits 18k - Feb 15, 2012

The markets seems to be not looking back and continuing their rally.
The SENSEX has hit the 18k mark and touched 18202.41 points gaining 353.84 (1.98%) points in trade today. NIFTY closed at 5531.95 points adding 114.00 (2.10%) points today. The rally is more visible in the midcap space with the CNX Midcap hitting the 7800.05 mark adding 178.80 (2.35%) points in trade today while the BSE Smallcap closed at 7053.01 points gaining 92.35 (1.33%).
