Sensex up at 63.90 points; Looses some shine - April 23, 2007 - 12:30 Noon

The markets came down a bit with some heavy selling in the past few hours of trade. Sensex is currently at 13,961.31 points - up 63.90 points or 0.46%. Midcap index is up 0.58% while Smallcap index is up 0.51%. Consumer Durables, FMCG and Health Care sectoral indices dipped into red while Metal stock index is holding up at 1.84%.
Nifty is at 4096.80 points (up 0.32%). Bank Nifty recovered a bit and is currently down 0.03%.
Top Sensex gainers so far are Syngenta Ltd, IGate Global, Jindal Steel, Alfa Laval, Jet Airways, GTL Limited, National Fertilizer, Tata Power, Exide Industries and Escorts Ltd.
Top Sensex losers so far are Sun Pharama, Balaji Tele, Titan Industries, ITC Limited, Tata Elxsi, ICIC India, Power Finance, HCL Technologies, Gujarat Ambuja Cements & Pfizer Ltd
