US Markets close in red; NASDAQ down 2.24%

Concerns of renewed write-downs by financial companies, the surging oil and commodities prices have pulled down the US markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 12083.77 down by 205.99 points or 1.68%. The S&P 500 list 22.95 points and closed at 1335.49 down by 1.69%. The NASDAQ is down 54.93% and last traded at 2394.01 down by 2.24%
